Paul Dennis, KC, is the firm’s senior partner and head of the Litigation Department. The breadth of his experience as an advocate, since being called to the British Virgin Islands Bar, is focused on commercial litigation, corporate insolvency, and admiralty law. He has appeared in many leading international commercial cases at all levels of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in London – the BVI’s highest appellate court. In recognition of his outstanding accomplishments as an advocate, Paul was appointed one of His Majesty’s Counsel on March 18, 2013.

Kerry Anderson, former managing partner, leads the firm’s Investment Funds, Regulatory and Digital Assets Practice, advising international clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters. Kerry has deep experience in fund formation and structuring and provides ongoing support for asset managers. His clients include US- and EU-based fund managers, emerging managers, and funds of all types, including private equity funds, alternative asset funds, public funds, crypto, and other alternative funds. Kerry also advises on joint venture deals, acquisitions, and financing for select international private and public corporations in various industries, including logistics, food, and technology, as well as on regulatory matters, including financial services, compliance, and tax and information exchange obligations.

Christopher Simpson is the head partner of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department. His practice focuses primarily on banking, finance, investment funds, and business and regulatory matters, including FinTech and digital assets. He advises a client base of leading financial institutions, corporations, and law firms. He has been involved in numerous IPOs throughout his career, including on AIM, TSX, NASDAQ, SGX, and the LSE. He has also been involved in groundbreaking deals, including one of the first-ever court-approved corporate arrangement schemes in the BVI and one of China’s largest single-asset real estate financings. Christopher has also acted on the launch of several investment funds and secured approval for many fund managers.
