Ladysmith Black Mambazo: Signature event for H. Lavity Stoutt Community College accreditation celebration

The legendary, four-time Grammy award winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo will take the stage at the Eileene Parsons Auditorium at the H Lavity Stoutt Community College, Tortola on February 23rd and 24th 2016 as part of their world tour and the signature event of the 21st HLSCC Performing Arts Series. O’Neal Webster is pleased to join the presenting sponsor, BVI Bank Association, as a corporate sponsor for the event, which has been earmarked as the College’s accreditation celebration concert.

After 25 years of providing tertiary education in the territory, the College was also accredited in its anniversary year, 2015. HLSCC President, Dr. Karl Dawson, said that these two milestones are worth celebrating, and doing so with Ladysmith Black Mambazo is a major coup.

This will be the first visit to the Virgin Islands by Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the all-male a cappella group who are South Africa’s cultural ambassadors to the world. Tortola will be the only stop in the Caribbean during their current world tour.

Tickets which range between $50 – $120, are available exclusively from the HLSCC Bookstore in Tortola or by contacting Mrs. Linette Baa, on (284) 852 7223. Or visit the event on Facebook for more information.
